OBC install who has done this ?

I have a 01S and have sourced a switch assembly complete. My Tech has turned on the OBC feature on my car. I have wires on the way with the VW connectors. MY question is.... there are a lot more parts in the list, like a connector and a connector repair kit , also caps for the switch assembly...I see no reason to replace the caps on my 4 armed aray here...what do I need the extra connectors for ? and why do I need a connector repair kit ??

Do I just need the wires with the correct pins ?

I called Pelican and asked for technical help and got a poor young man who knew nothing about this project, he just told me to buy the book and order all the parts.

Anyone have a good pic of the harness you made up...??
