Car alarm

Anyone had this issue. Car alarm has been going off randomly. I park my car away from the house so don't know when it is going off. I park at friends houses or the gym and nothing. Yet this morning I woke up and went to the car and the indicators were blinking. My girlfriend said there was an alarm going off but didn't think it was mine

So after locking the car and unlocking it about 10 times with the horn honking once. I opened closed all doors boots and inside compartments still doing it.

Now I have just put in an after market stereo so think it is that. I took it out this morning and the horn honk has gone which tells me it is definitely that.

Is there a way of turning off the anti tamper alarm so this does not happen. I think the alarm is thinking the stereo is being jacked so the alarm is going off.

So frustrating and always at night. My neighbours will love me.

Get the car scanned with a Porsche specific scan tool; the last ten alarm faults will be stored in the computer, so you should be able to isolate the problem.

If you did not properly reground the security connections for the audio system, the system will alarm.
