				Floor Jack

Anyone have this jack or any Pittsburgh floor jack? Pittsburgh 1.5 ton aluminum with Rapid Pump. It is on sale at Harbor Freight for $69.99.
I need something that I can move easily. I own a condo and will have to move it
from inside to the work area.

I assume you mean this one?
I have had it for a little over a year. It's perfect for my occasional use.

It will be for occasional use as well. Yes, that appears to be the one in the Harbor Freight add that I have.

Thanks for the info.

I have the same one, used it a dozen or so times since I got it last year. The light weight is really nice when you have to lift it.
Received a coupon to get it for 59.99, so i may get another one. Some projects are just easier with two jack stands.
It's a little touchy on the release, sometimes drops real fast, takes getting used too.

I've got the same jack from Northern Tools, the other cheap Chinese tools store. It worked well for 5 years used mostly on my 914. I tried to jack up my truck with it and a seal burst and it pissed itself. Parts are hard to find, can't beat the price. Light duty only.

I have this one. Perfect for Porsche, light, easy to maneuver. Possibly cheap build, but works for me. I swap tires for DE's 2-3 times / year with it and no problems...

Ihave one and so do several of the guys I go to the track with. As noted they are sort of light easy ot carry. The arms can be bent if you try to reposition it under load.

Mine is in the trunk of my Toyota - can't decide whether to open it or take it back and drop another $10 and get the 3 ton steel version. Goes lower, lifts higher. Decisions, decisions.
A tip: The HF flyer you receive via email doesn't have as good deals as you get in R&T or Autoweek. Those ads have the 1.5 aluminum for $59, it's $69 in the flyer.

I've got one just like these too. Worked great for a couple of years and then wouldn't pump up. I added more oil to it and bada bing, it works again.
You'll not find instructions on how to do this though as it's "unserviceable" according to the manufacturer... but that's crap.

I want a second one now.

The one concern I have about these is that the service is questionable. Would you be kind enough to reveal where the oil is added?

Thanks everyone for your opinion.

I have the same one...just used it this weekend

to help my buddy swap out shocks on his four runner. I have only used it sparingly with the car so far but I have been very impressed with it. My friend has had one for probably 10-12 years and used it a lot with his race cars. I am almost certain TSC sells the same jack (slightly different branding and box) for at least twice as much.

Yeah...I have it. It's OK. Very light. My neighbor has the next step up....MUCH MUCH heavier. It's a pain to move around but I do prefer it over mine.

Yep its heavy. Thats the one I have. Works great and when I have to move it around, I ride it like a scooter than pick it up. I would like to get both.
