Source for carpet

Grrrr - just picked up the rear cubby so I can mod / add some speakers. I was hoping the Savannah Beige carpet would match. Not even close. Looks almost like a rose hue to the carpet. Guess I should have picked up the black cubby...

Anyway - I'm debating the hassle of selling vs tearing off the old carpet and replacing with new. I suspect that a replacement won't match with all the years of sun fading. But I'm hoping it would at least be closer....

Anyone replace carpet on the cubby? A good source for the carpet out there? Will probably buy some extra since I plan to modify the door to accept speakers as my base model didn't have any speakers....

Have you thought about dyeing the carpet? I believe several members have done so successfully. Take a look at this product:

Nice! I will call them on Monday - Looks like $25 to give it a try. Can't make it worse - will only get closer to the original color. Appreciate the link!

No problem! Hope it works well. I think Drbodzin used it when he restored his 1998.
