Differences in spoilers.

I have noticed that the spoilers look different on some cars, can anyone tell what year they change and provide what options there are? I have a 99 and when closed my spoiler makes a very small fin. I have seen some cars (986 still) that have a more squared spoiler that seems to be wider and has a dip. Is this aftermarket or a factory change some year?

Thank you for the info.

No problem. The rear bumper is also a little different compared to the 97-02 to accommodate the way the spoiler sits when it's down.
