Roof not closing properly

Hello. I've had a quick search and can't see what I am looking for.

My roof has recently been giving me issues whilst closing. When I am putting the roof up, the two lugs which are meant to fit into the top of the windshield are stopping on top of it, forcing me to pull down on the two hand holds and fix into place.

I think this may have something to do with the button on the roof which you pull open then push shut before and after lowering and raising the roof.

But I don't know what to do to fix this so it closes correctly.

Probably more to do with cable tension. Mine has been doing the same thing.

Be careful of the windows. I reached out of the window and pulled down before latching it and darn near took my finger off in the window!

Part of me wonders if the rubber bushings on the rear pivot points (on the roof transmission) are shot, which may be putting it out of alignment. I'm probably wrong but it's worth looking into at least.

I put the roof up and down tonight giving it a good clean. It stuttered a couple of times, but on the third go it went all the way into position - no problem.

I'll keep an eye on it, should the weather hold up. Cheers.
