I did the TS mufflers alone, first and then to get rid of the drone I did the 2nd cat deletes.

There was an immediate significant improvement in throttle responsiveness and the drone went away when the 2nd cats were removed.

There was no noticeable power increase although the quicker take off from a standing start made it seem like it.

I would say that if you only did the 2nd cat delete you would also get the faster throttle response and it would likely change the tone of your stock muffler a bit.

In any case it would be a cheap way to improve the drive-ability.
