I've never driven a tip before, is the management system a stock item or is that something you added on? Also, what is that little gizmo on your vent?

Ah that...its gone now. But I replaced it with a far more advanced version (A.Q.U.A smell my friend). Called air vent freshener or something like that....

My first impression is you were likely "speed shifting". I see this all the time instructing and harp on my students to slow down and be certain to pick the correct gear. Unless you are Pat Long or someone that gets paid to drive fast, why risk your car?

Even in modern P-Cars (I was raised on 911 915 trannys), I teach my students that shifting is a two step process...nuetral, gear.

Hope your car is Ok, but I would take up Jake's advise.

When I tracked, late sessions tended to yielded trouble getting into third on up shifts IIRC. Just the thing to lose you a whole bunch of time. I had instructors asking asking what the heck is going there...you or car?

Maybe a little of both. Tired and hot. I think the lay of my shifter cable over top the engine is off (have dug into an AC hose) and gets worse with heat soak. Repositioning is problematic due to engine cover clearance. Perhaps things kinked up across the gate when hot.

I have intentions of changing the cables to motorsport versions if possible.
