Sad day

I know probably all of you did not know or heard of Howard, he was one of my new found friend ever since i bought my first Porsche and was always there when I needed him.

A Aussie man, keen racer and founder member of Porsche Club Ireland, Howard was looking after many privetally owned cars in this country from 917 to 911 Turbos, his knowledge of Porsche cars was vast.

Howard passed away last Friday morning in his garage in the middle of his favourite cars.

I know I will miss him and wanted to let you know about him.

Howard my friend, rest in peace.

24th February 2006

Hi,

Please accept my sympathies for your loss. From how you describe Howard, I'm sorry I never got to know him...

Happy Motoring!... Jim'99

An Old Irish Blessing

May the road rise to meet you
May the wind be always
at your back,
May the sun shine warm
upon your face,
And rains fall soft
upon your fields,
And until we meet again,
May God hold you
in the palm of His hand.

thanks guys much appreciated

just back from the funeral where we had 50 odd Porsches there to give him a last goodbye.

Nice service and we all felt sorry for his wife and family left behind, he had a massive heart attack while getting into work on friday morning, one of his sons was over here from Canada where he is in the armed forces, i know some of you are Canucks too on the forum.

Ferdinand lost a true son this week.

thanks again
