Hmm, that was an interesting video to watch.

I would have guessed...
  1. M3
  2. 350Z
  3. Boxster
  4. S2000
What's up with not putting the Boxster S?

And didn't the narration sound like the same guy from Iron Chef?

blkboxster 02-20-2006 11:00 AM

haha you are right he did sound like the guy from iron chef.I would have gussed that order to.

Great video! Considering the Z had its own camera crew following it and the video practically seemed like a commercial for the car, I would take the results and put a nice little asterisk behind them.

"This car is a babe magnet" cracked me up!

350Z special oil cooler?

They also fitted the Z with a special NISMO (?) oil cooler for this contest. I guess they didn't want a fair fight.
However I do think the Boxster S is prolly a little bit more expensive than the others when similary equiped. How much does a S2000 cost? The 350Z go for around $50K I think - similar to a non-S Boxster

Looks like they're using a pre-2005 Boxster with 220 BHP.

The Z goes for 35-41thousand,and the s2000 cost about 34thousand.
