I've had my '98 for almost six years now. Even with paying my indy for oil changes, my annual maintenance has been an average of $732.

Year 1: Two rear tires, clutch, aluminum flywheel, Imsb and rear main seal-- $5500. Year 2: $5-600-- AOS, etc. Year 3: Approx. $8000 ( with all work done myself)-- Row 030 suspension, rotors, pads, stainless brake lines, wheel bearings, two front tires, 997 SS, fuel pump, caliper and wheel repaint.

At 5,000 miles/year (my average so far), that'll be in 33 years ! Not sure I'll still be driving a Boxster when I'm 97 !
