How often does your spoiler come up on secondary roads?

Gravel, never. Pavement, frequently. But I pick my roads carefully.

When I push the button ...well that's probably a big fib...but it does put one in my area at 20 over and that might mean a tow and the ride in back of a police car.

Old topic I know, not sure if this was originally a rhetorical question but I have been wanting to figure out a way to see my spoiler come up... how do you guys know when your spoiler comes up? I know the spoiler light only comes on when the spoiler fails to come up, and you cant really see the spoiler in the rear view mirror. The only way I have figured is to have my wife follow me or set up an external camera on a mount to test if the spoiler is working. :-)

The correct answer is only at the track or at Bonneville, officer....

It's a little overkill, I suppose, but you can install a spoiler activation light in the dash. Sold on eBay.

I find myself often standing up and looking back to see. The only problem is every time my hat keeps flying off

Put an offensive phrase on your spoiler and it will be easy to tell as people pass you. They tend to let you know with one of their fingers.

On a serious note just trust that it works, and know that It will be up once you pass 75 then will go down once you drop beneath 55. (Correct me if I am wrong)

I believe it's 50mph on the down-stroke. Mine goes up at 75mph on the speedo which is actually 73mph. If I rise up in my seat till my head almost touches the roof, I can see the rear spoiler is up.

Sorry to take this thread off its path but does anyone like how the spoiler looks? I for one don't like it at all. I feel like it should have came like this from factory. |

Shehadehd couldn't help but to satisfy his tuner background when it came to the CF wing. He probably has different angles, but I think he enjoys the wing |

I really don't care for it at all. It's nobody's business how fast I was driving before. I think it looks stupid when it's up. I'd like to remove the mechanism and make my car lighter. Does anyone make a delete bracket?

Wow, I was just kidding trying to do that

I see you speedo is off about the same as mine. I kind of like having a 2-3 MPH buffer

I hold up my cell phone and take a picture. Honestly, I wish it would stay down until I hit about 90; spoils the fluidity of the car's silhouette. My top's down all the time anyway so I figure that windshield is enough of a "spoiler"!
