Removing interior door panels....how to?

Does anyone have the instructions for removing the interior door panels?
My 02 passenger window is making a horrible creaking noise.
It also rolls up all the way then back down half way when i do the single click.
I then have to hold the button to get it to go up all the way.
Can anyone tell me why this is happening?

Any help will be gretly appreciated

Scroll down to "Power Window Motor Repair" and click on it for instructions on how to remove door panels.

I suspect a similar problem is occurring with your Boxster. Good Luck.

It's probably the regulator. If so, buy a new one cheap at Sunset Imports in Oregon. I think they have them for $160 or so.

Just remember not to yank that door panel off at the last stage because there are some wires and stuff in there as well as bits for the door handle that don't have to fly across the room if you are careful.

Hi,

Be certain to disconnect the Battery and wait for at least 1 minute before proceeding. On the '02 Model onward, the AirBag Control Unit remains active for this time and could trigger the AirBags or the Seat Belt Retractors which use a Pyrotechnic Charge. Hope this helps...

Happy Motoring!... Jim'99

I bought a pair of these and wished I had bought one 20 years ago. Simple and extremely effective.
