C'mon Guys...give us your Model & Year!
Hi,
[Rant Mode ON] Lately there have been a number of threads requesting assistance with a Mechanical Problem or Technical Issue, but the Lister fails to mention their Model and Model Year. Porsche has been making the Boxster since 1997 ('96 in Europe) and have made many model changes and improvements since then. You may not realize this, but they have. Without the Model and Model Year information, it can be very difficult to relay the proper information requested without first having to ask the Lister. So C'mon Guys, Help the People Who Help You by supplying the Model and Model Year with your thread, or add it to your signature. Be courteous and stop wasting other people's time... [Rant Mode OFF] Happy Motoring!... Jim'99 |
Amen
Make it easy on yourself and everyone else. Put it in your signature along with any mods you may have done. :D |
I have a '05 Black Boxster with 18" wheels, upgraded stereo, windstop and Metallic Paint. Here's my question: How does a Thermos know whether to keep hot things hot and cold things cold?
|
Hi !!!
I have a 987-S (2005 model). It did not come with a wheel jack. Wish to buy one of those Hydraulic ones, but the dealers here, want to know what "plate" it should have on top. (ie., round or rectangular). By "plate" I mean the surface of the jack which is in contact with the car-body. I'm new to automotive terminology, but hope you can visualize my question. Thanks for any info, Rajendar (manguasha) |
I am getting in about 2-3 days a 986 S '04. 6900 miles on it, triple black, xenons, heated seats, leather, 17 inch wheels, auto climate, 3 spoke wheel.
For those who wonder... 44k. I CANNOT WAIT! |

Assuming you truly give a crap- a link below. More complex that I would have thought (not that I actually read it - when an explanation loses my interest after a paragraph, I refer to it as "complex".) http://home.howstuffworks.com/thermos.htm Incidentally, did you know that the 987 glove box is "cooled". So instead of using a thermos to keep your Slurpee slurpable you could just pour it into your glove-box directly. |

Btw, love that "howstuffworks.com". A wealth of useful, as well as useless, information. |
that was a great website! I spent a useless hour reading about useless stuff.
Sorry, I was being sarcastic with the post...! Where do babies come from? |
We are the masters of useless here!
