Who "owns" their Boxster?
 

I just want to see the percentage of people who actually own their Boxsters. I'm still having second thoughts about buying a used 5 year old Boxster where I can lease one (or assume a lease) that is newer and has more options.

Paid cash on my used '99. The only way to go, I hate car payments. Haven't had car payments for the last 8 years or so and it feels great.

I almost outright own mine now. its a 2k and I only took a 3 year loan on it. Will be paid off this December :)

It's fully paid for. No loans, no leases. It's completely mine.
I will keep it till I die...

Maybe the question here should be, is it better to buy a used one with monthly payments or lease a new one.

I have to decide whether to lease or buy by December. If I decide on leasing, I will go for a 911. But I want to own a Porsche at the same time so I'm still undecided. It's really hard to decide when you do the things I do: search hundreds of listings and always finding something better and better every week. BUt I have to make my mind soon otherwise I will never buy a car.

Made my last payment to the bank and got the pink-slip recently.
