Touring Boxster options/nice to have question

Hey Guys,

I want to add another 986 Boxster to my fleet to be used as a touring car, ie - weekend road trips, cross-country travel, etc. I want to keep the long distance miles off my other Boxsters and limit them to one car that I don't mind it being a high mileage car.

I know the stock answer is that any Boxster would do, and while yes, they would, what options/engine/transmission, etc would you want for a touring Boxster? And besides, this gives me an excuse to buy another Boxster! :D

I know all the advantages of a "S" car with the bigger engine and beefier suspension, but I'm not thinking those would be that important for this car and the sportier suspension may actually be a disadvantage for a highway car.

Here's what I'm thinking so far for a touring car:

MY '98-'02
Tiptronic
2.5 or 2.7 engine
17 inch wheels (for ride/road comfort)
Upgraded radio w/ navigation
Hard top

What options would you look for or what would you add?

Help me out...

Thanks,

Rick
