Widest rear tires

What are the widest rear tires anybody is running on their 986's?

Dunno, but they're all comically over-tyred from the factory so not sure why you'd want to go wider. Looks, I guess!

Tire widths vary somewhat from brand to brand but the widest I have seen was 285s under a stock 986 fender. 255 is the widest I care to go.

I run 275/40/17 slicks on all 4 corners for autoX, theres definitely room for a little more.

Street I run the stock 255s out back. It wouldnt hurt to stick a 10 or 15mm spacer with the stock wheels though.

Nicely fitted big meat under a Porsche is bad azz.

Performance wise.. well

most of us are vain anyhow, otherwise we would not have the Porsche to begin with.
