cayman r rear spoiler

I wonder if it would fit on a 986? folks have been fitting the standard cayman spoiler onto the 986, so this should fit. might be a cool, functional for track, oem upgrade ...

One of the first really tasteful spoilers i've seen. someone ought to mock that up in fiberglass or CF for our application!

Hate to spend 20%-30% of the value of my car on this little piece :-)

nice! Certainly excellent for the track I'm guessing. Wouldn't pass inspection here tho lol. Needs a minimum radius if laws are similar in the US. They got rid of all the aftermarket spoilers with sharp corners here recently.

I know cuz I just did my cars annual inspections a week ago and that's what the old dude was rumbling about..... my knockoff Porsche spoiler. He almost convinced me to take it off

$2000??!! No wonder its still available.

The Radium King 01-29-2014 11:42 AM

yeah, that's a whole lotta way too much money, but i'm sure there are knock-offs out there someplace. i'd hoped that it mounted in place of the automatic spoiler (allowing removal of that heavy piece of gear) but it appears to mount on the rear deck lid in front of the automatic spoiler.

it would be niece to have a spoiler that mounted in place of the spoiler we currently have, in order to allow deletion of the motors, etc., as well as to not have to buy the expensive techart extended rear trunk lid.
