When I got my boxster the keys were functional but looked horrible. Cosmetic only, but for me it's care in the small details that make an older item feel new again - here's a restored key next to original. About $60 total for the restore.

Two parts for this order:

eBay: NEW PORSCHE 911 986 996 GT3 TURBO BOX CAYENNE TURBO

KEY HEAD REPLACEMENT CREST

Not perfect, but looks 10 years newer! Replaced the crest using a tab of rubber cement glue.

Totally fresh, they can cut a key from a photo of your existing key? Craziness.. Thanks for the link! :cool:
