Can't wait enough for the Title/Regn/Insurance to be completed so I can begin the journey.

			Do I really need to have a Licence Plate up front in Texas - Hate to spoil the clean looks.

Yes, you, do. Get the wildlife conservation plates, though, and at least you'll have a horny toad on the front of your car. I would almost move to Texas to get a set of those. Almost.

			Any thoughts on mounting the licence plate - Tow Hook based (Rho-plate; Mower Deck; US Mill Works) or Drill into the pre-identified spots in the bumper.

			Nice. Mine had 9K miles when I bought it. Almost Zero repairs until I hit 65K miles.

You can take the chance and wait, keep the front plate in the car and explain you have been meaning to get it mounted. There are lots of folks around here with out front plates, I tend to notice that. Or do what I did, I had a European style plate made and I actually kind of like it.
