Remapping

Hi All, I have fitted a sports exhaust system with de-catted manifolds to my 987.Only had the CEL light on once and want to get it remapped. Spoke to a guy who said he can do it but when I asked if it would be remapped for the set up of the car he said yes and to get around the CEL issue he would delete the Lambda sensors? Is this right or should he be doing something else? Need advice as I am worried my car will have issues with fuel mixture etc if they are just turned off. I`m in the UK and have called a couple of other companies but I`m not paying £900 to have it remapped!
Many Thanks

Have a look on boxa/net - more UK centric. I had mine custom remapped on the dyno at Motorsport Developments in Blackpool. I was in touch with a guy near Oxford but I didn't feel confident in their credentials. £350 all in.
