Windshield Wipers Upgrade

Picked up a pair of Bosch 22A ICON Wiper Blades, 22" to get ready for some rain if California gets any this year? I think the bracketless design looks much cleaner - I'll have to wait for some rain to determine functionality. :)

I just put a pair of those on my Tundra about a week ago. So far, I like them. I was getting a lot of skip with my other set in semi-wet conditions. These seem to be more rigid and hopefully will produce less skip.
Time will tell.
When I got mine, they were on sale, buy one, and get one 1/2 price at Auto Zone.

Do they fit?. I bought a pair of rain-x blades yesterday and I couldn't get them to stay on the arms. Nothing clipped into the arm. Returned them after I cracked windshield because the arm slipped out of my hand.

I did the Icon blades and they fit great and work better.

Tried a few sets of frameless blades on the box- didn'nt fit the curve of the windshield as well as the original assymetric (curved passenger + windbladed driver) Bosch set, so I went back to them. Use the frameless style on my other cars though, where they seem to work fine and look better.

This is bad memory! Watchout for fake BOSCH wipers you see advertised at half price (eBay and around). BUY GENUINE!!!

Had a set last year, had to scrape the melted rubber off the windshield... took me something like 2 hours. Just one day under the hot Shanghai sun and they went flat dead, melted and all :/

ps. I knew they were fakes... just needed to try them (bad bad, bad idea)
