07 Cayman wheels on my 00 Boxster S.
Ok, finally goy them on. The front Pilots were original so I replaced them with the Faulken 612's, 225/40, the backs were nearly new so I left them on Pilots 265/40. I used what was recommended for the Boxster on the fronts and even with the rims 9" they fit perfectly. Have plenty of strut clearance on the front and the backs fit that we'll too. No spacers needed. They have discontinued the Pilots per my tire people. The Faulken is a good tire for Florida roads, no, not for tracking. I like them because they ride well.

Looks great, are they 18"s

:cheers:They look awesome ! I LOVE the Cayman S wheels on the Boxster. I had my heart set on a set for my Box and wouldn't settle for anything else. I had to search far and wide but I finally found a set in my price range (Good looking OEM Porsche wheels don't come cheap). I think they give the Boxster a much more aggressive look without giving up a clean stock appearance.
Here is a pic of what they look like on an Arena Red Box........... http://986forum.com/forums/uploads01...1387481101.jpg |

Looks good. They're a simple design but still pleasing. And they'll be a whole lot easier to clean.
I have a set for my snow tires. They give the CSS a different look than with the black wheels. (I was going to attach a pic but the size police would have a fit.) |
Found the new style upload. Here's the CSS with the 18's.
