Is This Dented Door Repairable?

I tripped in the garage earlier this evening with full hands. I stumbled against the drivers door, denting it. Anyone know if this would be repairable by one of paintless dent removal companies? I emailed a company local to me in the RTP area of NC. It's killing me trying to determine if its going to body shop issue.

Heck yes, that's a PDR guy's dream repair. A shallow uncreased dent without broken paint.
You'll never know it was dented when it's done. We had one very similar on our Maytag white Odyssey two years back, and it turned out perfectly.

Thank you all for the responses. I would love to be able to high quality body work. Learning how to do it won't be done on my Porsche. I will gladly pay to have an expert do it. Especially if it can be done via PDR.

If it's got any creases in it, the PDR guy is going to have a tough time with that. Hard for me to tell from the pic if the top of that dent is creased or not. Could just be the way the light hits it.

Looks like the door Is creased at the top of the dent...PDR will have a tough time If that's the case , Take It to a pro body shop you will be glad you did...shame your not close by I would do It for you . ( Been a body tech for way to long :ah: )

I can not tell it qualifies as a crease. Here are a few more pictures that focused on the sharpest edge.

Yeah, most of it will pop right out, but that moderate crease at the top will be more work.

Perfectly doable. Ask around, body shops have their regular PDR guys, so do car dealerships.

I'd say 100 bucks and you're good.

I went ahead and pulled the interior door panel off the car. Hope is that it will make it easy for a paintless dent repair and give them good access. The very top of then dent is just at a brace that runs inside the door. Fortunately it is easy to put a hand on it. It makes it seem that the tools will be able fit. I hope to hear from either of the two company that were contacted in the last few days for quotes.

I was able to get an appointment at local shop for 2 PM today. The owner came out and took a look at the dent. He gave low whistle with a shake of his head. He told me the silver metallic flake could be a problem say that he might need to shrink the metal and if he did there was chance the paint would show it. He told me he thought he could get to @ 80% at a cost of 285.00. If I wasn't happy, there would be no charge. I let him go for it. This is the result:





I am well pleased with the result. Sure - If I look exactly where it was with the light coming from an angle, there is some visibility. Verses the cost of replacement door (bare shell from DC Automotive - around 45 miles away - is 350) and painting, This is perfect for me. It's not like this car doesn't have a few scratches and flaws. At some point yeah I would like to see the whole car repainted but for car that's value is less than 10,000 - it does not make economic sense today.
