"You just have to realise that by the time she asks you your opinion, she has already made up her mind to buy or reject whatever she is looking at anyway......"

Use reverse psychology....:D

Btw, the girls here are not biting.........

Nah . . . hard to be offended when it's all true. ;)

When I met my hubby, he had 2 forks, 1 steak knife, and a frying pan. His table was a slab of glass hung on cables, and his furniture was 2 lawn chairs.

The last time we moved (all these years later) it took us 2 1/2 full size moving trucks.

That kind of shopping took some serious time. :D

Well I've been following this thread for some time now and feeling the collective pain of all my brothers out there and feel it is my duty to inspire the downtrodden with the pearls of wisdom I have accumulated over the years. First it is important to understand that she is the love of your life and you would not be complete without her. When she wants to go shopping put a big smile on your face and say "Absolutely, I thought you'd never ask!"
When you arrive at the mall simply pull up to the main entrance and put on your four way flashers. Get out of the car and open her passenger door for her…this is very important! Take her by the arm and escort her to the entrance door and ask her to call you when she is done shopping and ready to be picked up. She is to take as long as she wants because you want to make her happy! Then go to the nearest Hooters in your area and chow down on some wings and beer while watching NFL highlights on the big screen.
You will see other men in there who are making their soul mates happy by doing the same thing you are so you can bond with them and catch up on what teams will make the playoffs. While waiting for the wings to arrive you have more than enough time to write her a little note telling her how much she means to you and how she rocks your world! Take your time with the wings as your cell phone probably won't ring for at least 3 hours. The smile on her face when you return to pick her up later will be your testament to the peace and harmony that seems to be missing from so many relationships today…thank you:)

Glad I'm not alone and have this forum for support via empathy and commiseration. :D

Oh, yes. Definitely happier. ;)

I might have to remind him every now and then, but he is much, MUCH happier.

:D

Used to do Research at the U. I kinda thought that was the place, based on the stores mentioned. I hate that plaza. Horrible parking. I used to overlook it from my previous job's office (post-U job, pre-current job). You an see Sundance on lower left, just past the U clinic. Also see part of the Bed Bath and Beyond and Whole Foods, but Barnes is too far south in this shot to have made it in. Shot is from a year ago, so you don't see the Sugarhole complex that is almost complete.

I sometimes miss that office, though. Had a view of downtown, too:

Unfortunately, the Hooters (and being Utah with its fashion patrole http://www.ksl.com/?sid=19248440) is several blocks away from said location, and it doesn't quite have an "main" entrance being an outdoor "complex". I do like the Rubios and they have some fru-fru pseudo-sushi place tucked back past the Old Navy and Ann Taylor block. There's an ok Indian food place on the other side of Sundance and some Burger place I never went to across the street, but I do feel this guy's pain. There's a bunch of construction on one side (13th) and always traffic on the perpendicular road (21st), and construction on the other (just past the nexus of Highland and 13th east... is it 18th by at point? I dunno, in front of the Barnes and Noble), so there's many reasons to dislike this place and I, personally, hate this shopping location and the tight, crowded parking lots. Even the other side over by the Nordstrom's Rack, dollar theater, and Michael's sucks. There is nothing redeemable about this shopping location and I avoid it. Having said that, I don't mind shopping with my Wife, generally. I don't get full value though have 2 little kids with me. I'd take my Wife over shopping with kids anyday

They should put all the high dollar stuff in one spot at the store to save time because when we are done thats what she always ends up with. She kills me God love her.
