I am not falling for the orange light peer pressure... I am embracing the originality.

I think maybe the lighting may be bad in my pic because in regular day light my headlights look identical to his.

Presentation is everything;) I commented in that other thread but I did not comment on his headlights specifically since he wasn't really asking for an opinion on them. Seems he bought it that way. I think his car, as well as yours, would look better with the clear lights instead of blacked out. BUT, that is just my opinion. Everyone has to do what they like best. That is what is so great about this forum, there are all kinds of ideas and opinions, some I like, some I don't, but I learn from everyone:cheers:

You asked for our opinion, He was just showing his car.

Exactly. You came in and said something to the effect of: "I cheaped out on a mod, what do you think?" and then you get your chit in a knot when everyone isn't like "Oh wow, you da man!" Next time you solicit opinions maybe you should specify that you only want to hear the ones you're going to like.

Those blacked-out ambers look just as heinous on his car as yours, he just didn't draw attention to it like you did. It looks like crap on your car, and it looks like crap on every other car where that has been done, and it has nothing to do with bad lighting.

Chit in a knot? We must be reading two different things. Nothing to do with lighting is also an ignorant statement considering paint and colors on cars has everything to do with lighting. There is no substitute for pure sunlight.

I agree. Been on many car forums. Always interesting to see what people are doing to cars good or bad.

No doubt, it's common to remove the amber. However, I think it looks good on that headlight style. Particularly on the black cars. The amber gives it some nice visual weight.

I agree that it looks good. Mine is Guards Red with Litronics headlights and the tail lights have amber in it and it gets lost in the red body color. With the clears it would would add visual weight. I am happy with the way mine are but others will like the clears. To each his own.
