Early 3.2 - cable throttle and dual-row?
Quick question.
Are all 3.2s single-row IMSB and e-gas? Or is it possible to have an early 3.2 with either or both cable throttle and dual-row IMSB?

It's possible to have 2000 S with a dual-row, AFAIK.
e-gas, not positive

My 2001 3.2 has a dual row bearing, & has the e-gas.
It was built in Finland in April 2001.

I've got a 2000S with dual row, and I believe that all 3.2 and 2.7 cars have the e-gas.

no cable on the 3.2, as the engine first came out in 2000 and Porsche had moved to e-gas on their engines at that point. if you need a cable on your 3.2, look to an early 996 3.4 throttle body as they initially came with cable.
i'm no ims expert (try to avoid that stuff) but my understanding is that early 3.2s have dual row and they switched to single partway through the production year. this is why there is a lot of confusion with the 2000 S guys about what they have in their cars.

With any 00' car the IMSB is questionable to be DR or SR. My stats put about 75% that we have retrofitted at DR, no matter the production date.
I haven't ever seen a 3.2 car that wasn't drive by wire.. Although some ROW cars may have existed with a cable, but I doubt it.
