Just did a error code read:

P1441 Camshaft adjustment, bank1
P0300 Misfire detection (total)
P0302 Misfire, cylinder 2
P0303 Misfire, cylinder 3

I looked into the book 101 Projects for your Porsche to locate the two Camshaft sensors. Should be one left side on top of the cylinder close to the front + one right side to the back. Found something that could look like them, but had three power lines and not two as pictured in the book.

Any thoughts to what I can look for?

Year and model of the car, and what scan tool was used to obtain the codes?

2000 986 2,7 Boxster. LAUNCH tool.

I´m thinking coil here. I can see it has replced number 3 and 4 coil in 2009.

Reason I questioned which tool is that the factory OBD II diagnostics book does not list a P1441 for your car. There is a P1411, which is a code for the secondary air system on your car. I'd recheck that code with a Porsche specific scan tool such as a PST II, PIWIS, or the Durametric software system.

I will try and replace the spark plugs first (hasn't been done since may 2011..) and the coils for cyl 2 + 3 and see if that does the job.
