'01 Boxster at Stead Porsche

Has anyone seen the '01 for sale at Michael Stead Porsche. I am interested in it, but live in LA and was hoping maybe someone knows the car.

Thanks

Len

I haven't checked it out, but if I we to buy a Boxster in the SF Bay Area right now this 2001 S with 7,900 would probably be a contender:

2001 boxter s

I'm not a huge fan of the interior color choice thought.

Or if you really want to go nuts here is a $53k RUF Boxster:

2001 RUF 3400S

Thanks, don't think I can afford the Ruf

I generally like the tan-ish interior, but I think it looks better on darker colors, looks a little off on the Speed Yellow '01

That color combo is horrible!

I almost expect to see David Cassidy and Leif Garrett driving in it.

Hi,
I am not familiar with the car but i just got my new Cayman S at Stead and have used them for most of my service on my previous 986S. If you are really interested I could take a look for you sometime, send me a PM. From the photos it looks like the interior has lot of interior wear and tear tho.

It seems like a lot of money for what it is. I have a base Box 2001 and two years ago I did not pay much more than that. Stealership tends to be pricey. You could probably get a base or an S at a good price buying privately. Also ask for receipts for work done, any accidents etc. A PPI is a must. Look for the options you want on the Boxster- psm, remote key entry etc etc. Bargain hard as the $$$ you save put into a slush fund for possibly replacing, IMS, clutch and other items. Do not be in a hurry!

I prefer lower mileage(mine had 30k miles on it when I bought it)as the accessories should last longer . Super low mileage you may need to replace ims right away or install IMS Guardian. Let us know what you get and of course pics would be great.....

Thanks for the replies. The '01 @ Stead just sold. There are so many cars for sale, I am not in a rush.
