What causes brown plastic pieces in oil?
 

Did my 2nd oil change as a Boxster owner today. Cut open my oil filter to inspect - found a couple small brown pieces that look plastic (and are not magnetic). Did some research and it seems a few pieces here and there are normal - but I didn't see anything referring to brown plastic. Or maybe it's just plastic that has been color changed by oil?

Any thoughts to what is brown and plastic internally?
