Design Package
 

My 01 S came optioned with the Design Package that includes - stainless steel door sills.

I notice my sills from the factory say " Boxster" not " Boxster S". Does anyone else have Design Package with the same?

Hey which passenger air filter cover have you- Aluminum or plastic?

Mine's an '01S as well, though apparently a different package. My sill's carbon fiber but indicates (you guessed it..) "Boxster" NOT "Boxster S". It's good to have company I guess! :cheers:

Anyone know what the option code is for the design package? I have a list of codes but don't think that is one of them....and the door sills say Boxster S??

My 01S probably has this option, since it was nearly maxed on the options, but I don't know the code. It does have the full leather - and I mean Full Leather treatment (including sewn carefully over the slats in the vents and applied to the dash bars and underside of instrument hood) ---
and it has the door sills in stainless that say "Boxster" instead of "Boxster S."

As a matter of fact ... yes

Design package with stainless steel door sills, Arctic Silver color supplementary safety bars and aluminum/leather gear shift and handbrake lever.



It was a $2457 option in 2001 on this side of the border and has the nicest gear shift knobs available IMO! :)
