Used car extended warranty
 

I bought a 2001 boxter a few days ago and have been contemplating getting a used car warranty from one of those 3rd party companies. I was wondering if anyone has any good or bad experiences with any companies in particular or recommendations.

I do not have an extended warranty on my 2001 Boxster base. I take my chances and so far it has paid off after 2.5 years of ownership. It all depends on a person's pucker factor and financial situation....

it seems like insurance is paying in advance for repairs maybe set x amount aside then if not needed you still have it ? in hindsight i could use ins. what kind of coveradge do you get w/ it? no ims

just read the fine print, you have to change oil every 3 months or 3000 miles .... which ever comes first.
