The Boxster invasion

Our little town is being invaded by old boxsters. A local used car dealer is importing 1997 cars from japan for cheap , doing the required modifications and offering them for sale. Most have low kilos on the odometer. 40. -70, and are left hand drive. No mechanical records and starting prices are $17 k which seems really high. I think we had 4-5 boxsters around here before the invasion, so this guy has doubled that number. Interestingly, they all had after market radios installed in order to pick up Japanese stations, and everyone I looked in reeked of cigarette smoke.

Vancouver islanders beware!

To the uninformed that would be a better risk than having a flood damaged one from Calgary unless of course the ones in Japan were victims of a tsunami......

Higher mileage 99 yo and older can be had for less than $10k now in Alberta.

Nah those are the ones that were rescued from Fukoshima city and surroundings but didn't passed the radiation test. They stored those near the shipping port for future destruction.

The cars works just fine but the high level of radiation found in them is NOT good for the JD's music CD. It will fry it in a flash :/

You should tell your small town 2nd hand car dealer to import them from China. All the Porsche here are below 20k~40k!!! Cost around $50 to get the cluster's eprom hacked/flashed. One hour job. Same price in JP, Korea, Thailand etc...
