Radio reseting by itself
 

Hello all

When I start my car, once I start moving, the radio will close and reopen by itself 2 or 3 times in the first 5 minutes of driving. It usualy wont happen again during the trip. It happen if the car is cold. Wont happen if I've been driving 30 minutes, stop for 5 minutes and start again.

Any idea why and how to repair it.

Just change the head unit for a modern one, that should do it

Just a guess, I really don't know what would cause that other than a faulty head unit

Many people indicate that their problems clear up after they clean the contacts on the removal faceplate. I recommend that you try that first.
