Never happened.

I disassembled my passenger side belt and sprayed w lithium grease. Retracted fine after that.

Do I get points for the shoulder belt on a 6pt after I've done the lap belts up.

Sorry for the dumb question, but what kind of silicone spray are we talking about? Don't want to gum up the belt. Are we talking a spray made for fabric like a Scotchguard type product? Other sprays I've seen are for plastic, rubber or metal.

Not once. First car I've owned in 15 years that I didn't have the problem.
