Fairly complicated. Not many have done this. Certainly can be done but expect to spend a lot of time getting all of the details right.

I'm with those suggesting that you just swap the engine and drive it as with the manual transmission. The time and money savings will be huge (and should leave you more than enough spare change to upgrade the IMS bearing, which should not only provide additonal comfort, but resale value down the road).
