Indy shops in New York

Hi All
I am starting the long look for a boxster. I want to find a good independent mechanic for the PPI and possibly some work. Can anyone recommend a good mechanic in NY? I live on Long Island in Suffolk county.
Thanks
John

Garage
It's a bit of a drive, but Musante Motorsports in South Windsor, CT. is well worth the trip if your looking for a world class Porsche facility.

I was searching for the same thing 2 months ago and have recently been to two shops. Both are pricy with hourly rate similar or above dealer rate, however both are very knowledgeable in Porsche and are nice people.

1) MMS; MMS

2) Werks 1 Inc; Long Island Porsche Services | Maintenance | Restoration | Werks 1 Inc.

These look pretty good. Did you just get your boxster? Where did you buy it from?
Thanks

If you find one in the city I can scope it for you and make a report before you drive out. I did a lot of work on my 986 and know several things to look for.
