Litronics w/ washers on 986 w/o headlight washers

OK, maybe a moronic question, so my apologies in advance:

I have a chance to buy a set of Litronics for my 2000 S. They have headlight washers, and my car does not. Can I hook up the washers somehow? If I don't hook them up, is there any downside?

I did a quick search, but couldn't find any relevant posts. Thanks...

I never use my headlight washers because the fluid gets on the hood & spots. I suggest just using your non-washer corner piece on the new lites

In five years I have never used my headlight washers. I just last week replaced the corner pieces with non washer units. A much cleaner look.

Your car is not built for headlight washers, so your missing hoses that go from the washer reservoir not to mention the pump and control switch. I believe they are different from the windshield controls.
Like the other folks said, just get clear corner lens to replace the washer outlets if you still want to upgrade to the Litronics.
