new guy question...
every-time i turn off the ignition and remove the key I get 4-5 chimes? I can't find a reference for this in my manual? No lights or accessories on.

That is odd, the chiming is supposed to occur upon putting the key IN and turning the ignition switch.

Did you open the door first or leave the lights on? You have to:
- Turn off lights - Unbuckle seatbelt - Turn off ignition - Open door Or it chimes. John |

Your ignition switch is failing. Get a new one for $15.
