Diminshed Value...

Wish me luck, I start the negotiation process with Progressive about the diminshed value after my accident (rear ended) tomorrow. I will let you know how it all turns out.

I'd be less concerned about the money and more interested in exactly how you know you will get in an accident tomorrow. That's freaky. Either way, good luck.

Tough call, I've always thought people with black cars were, at their core, weak. HA! I'm just kidding, I actually had a hard time deciding between black and blue. I think I'm going with black on the next one.

Sorry about your car btw, that is painful to hear.

Dudes, I was even more confused until I re-read the re-reading of the earlier post... I read. In all seriousness, it really is funny.

Smile

Rail26, get an appraiser to come look at your car. Type in diminished value in google and a bunch will show up. Here's an eg. of what a major insurance company gave me.

Their 1st offer~$500.

My appraiser's~$2100

Their 2nd offer~$1500

My tenacity to get what I was owed~ $2100.

Let them know how much MSRP is for this car, how porsche driver's are anal about their cars, How this hit would deter any future potential Porsche buyer, etc.... G'luck
