Timco...
I know Australia is a long way from UT, but the Boxster glassware should be basically the same. I had my screen replaced last month and the replacement was done at my home so I saw all the moves. It took approx 2 hours from start to finish.

What is important is that the glass is from Porsche - this came from the guy who fitted it. He said cheaper glass was just not worth it as it was thinner and starts to de-laminate sooner than the genuine.

Secondly, you must also replace both the inner and outer seals (part # 996 541 531 01 and 986 541 541 03) or you will have leaks.

Third is that the screen has the radio antenna embedded in the glass, so make sure its there and its connected correctly.

Hope this helps - a clear screen is great to see through too.....
