Reaching out to Montrealers who own Boxsters

Hi guys I just wanted to reach out to any Montrealers on this forum who own Boxsters. Always looking to meet new people who love their Boxster as much as I do. Also a good place to make connections with people who are local.

My mum always reminds me to never meet anyone from the Internet, it's too dangerous. She said I could be kidnapped and worst, my car's organs being sold out.

Joking aside, I am native Montrealer but not necessarily living there at the moment - I will be back soon although.

Have fun!

Just spent a few days there in Montreal -- your town gives NYC's potholes a run for their money. I think My alignment bill would be pretty high if I lived there!

They get easier to spot during spring (melting time!) when those enlarge to 1 meter wide by 12" deep ;) lol

Not only that but Bloomberg can definitely go against the Mayor of Montreal whoever that is now...

Actually coming your way mid-Sept. for my Quebec City & Gaspe Peninsula road trip.
Any good places in your neck of the woods for pulled pork or smoked meat sandwiches?

Quebec to Gaspé, done that 10 years ago. In case nothing changed there, don't do like I did... bring lots of lots of music with you. Or if you prefer a passenger, chose one with outstanding social skills!

There is only one restaurant between Quebec and Gaspe, you can't miss it. It's called St-Tibernac KeCbon. If you do sandwiches then I recommend stopping there.

So you reached some and then ? ;)

redeye280z 09-04-2013 07:15 AM

Well now it's good to know we have some Montrealers on here. Maybe we could try to organize some group meets like they do at the Orange Julep.

The French Dude 09-04-2013 09:31 AM

It would be nice !
When ? :D

NewArt 10-04-2013 05:08 PM

Well, maybe I could use some local talent to help me drop my engine this fall! ;)

NewArt 10-04-2013 06:19 PM

Wow, you can't say "********************" on this forum? How about birch (that's a tree)?

The French Dude 10-10-2013 02:11 PM

Yes we are in the place ;)

NewArt why do you want to drop your engine ?

NewArt 10-10-2013 02:43 PM

Because I can! ;)

NewArt 10-10-2013 02:48 PM

No, seriously, I want to replace the tensioner pads and I figured it was a good time to check out the lifters and other stuff while I had the car put up for the winter. I'm to old and cranky  to be lying on my back, skinning my knuckles and swearing constantly. Thought I'd do it the fun way!
