Who has done body kit mods
 

I saw some vids of a boxster with a wide body mod and wonder if anyone on the forum has done this and what the costs were.

I would also like info on body mod costs if you have undertaken them.

I saw some kits on ebay today for widebody about$4k to 6k.

I think they include everything you need so just install time

I've looked at these on a few different sites. I always wondered what kind of quality they are.

I was always particularly interested in the different side skirts.

Body kit cost + shipping + Fitting and Painting at a body shop = the resale value of the 986 Boxster most of the time!

I did this math and said, "looks great! Not gonna waste my money"

I did put on some cheap aftermarket side skirts and a bolt-on rear diffuser for under the back plastic bumper and that makes it look a lot better.
