34% of attacks are sourced from China IPs.
It's likely that either someone sharing your netblock was blacklisted or your system is part of a botnet without your knowledge.

if you're actually tunneled to seattle, and every bit goes that route before hitting the internet, geo location wouldn't locate you in china, it'd be seattle.

from what it sounds like, the problem isn't the forum, but the network connection out of china. however:



twitter, of course, is not so lucky:




my biggest gripe with the forum is the inability to upload PNG images... :troll:

This looks like the hosting provider that sells forum space to 986forum is blocking access. This isn't a Chinese government filter (they don't use POS sonicwall).
