proof is in the weight - knock-offs tend to be a lot heavier.

Perfectlap 08-19-2013 03:21 PM

light, durable and cheap. You can only have two.

In US$ equivalent those retails at $1,240 per wheel ($4,900 package). Installation included.

and they sell believe it or not. So it appears that today, if anyone is not only able to copy a design, but also the craftsmanship, they are able to slip in the industry as fast as those who spend millions in developing a product.

Anyone sees a long term problem with that trend?

Can you get me set of those Hamann center caps in black ? :)

They didn't copy the craftsmanship, just the design.

Production craftsmanship is based using the exact right materials that meet all of the requirements of the engineering design; following the exact manufacturing processes to produce a product that is guaranteed to meet all of the engineering specifications; and having verifiable monitoring to ensure that every unit built meets all of the design parameters.

Those are great looking knockoff's and I am not saying that they are not built well, but there is no real craftsmanship.

I'll post on the aftermarket parts local forum here about your requirements. Might take one or two days to pin them tho. Can't promise but can try.

Valve stem caps ? If, so, I have a set. :)
