Replacing Top
Last winter, I decided to take down my top so that I could fit in some large boxes for moving our household goods. Even though it was 48 degrees, I split the back plastic window. I've kept the car outside in the driveway for the past ten years and have treated the top regularly. Nonetheless, I think I'll replace the top rather than just replace the plastic window. There are two shops in Cincinnati that do this work, and I'm wondering if it makes sense to buy my own top at Auto Tops Direct or just have the dealer supply the top. I'll be moving to Phoenix in the next few months. Currently have 134,000 miles on the car - stick with plastic or go glass??
