IMS - the other end

As I understand it, the IMS has a plain bearing at the forward end and the much discussed ball bearing at the rear. My question is this. How is the plain bearing lubricated? Specifically, is there a direct oil feed?

It is lubricated by a passage within the oil pump housing and is fed directly from the oil pump- just like my IMS Solution. The only difference is a hose is used to route the oil to the IMS SOlution, externally.

The plain bearing on the "other end" of the IMS operates exactly like the IMS Solution operates. We have NEVER seen a failure of the "other end" of the IMS assembly, even when engines have failed due to "starvation".
