Pedal grips
I just got from the previous owner a set of aluminum porsche logo pedals...dead, clutch, brake and Vegas. They have the holes in them but did not come with the rubber grips. Says on the box 996 m/t model p201.
Anyone know where I can get the grips for them? Are all the ones out there universal size? Rennlust had some but for there pedals |
Anyone have any ideas here?

Timer you have the pedal set that was designed with out the grips so there might not be any grips available that would fit properly. I haven't seen the just the grips for sale so this may be difficult. Sorry I couldn't help. Also post some pics to get a better idea of what you have.

Here is what I have. I dont drive the car in the rain so I guess I was just thinking from a safety issue how slippery these will be...http://986forum.com/forums/uploads01...1375125003.jpg

Best bet is to find out who made the pedals and contact the manufacturer.
I know that the Rennline grip/non-grip pedal sets are different. The pedal sets with grip dots are concave around the holes so the grip dots are countersunk. Whereas the pedal sets without grips (aka perforated) are convex and raised around the holes to provide some level of traction (because they don't have rubber grip dots). Thus, the Rennline pedals are different so you can't just buy the grip dots and insert them into a non-grip/performated pedal. However, since your pedals have the countersunk holes, if you can't find the manufacturer, I'd try contacting Rennline and see if they can sell you some grip dots to see if they might work. |
