I was paying attention to the steering when I drove the 981 because of everything I read. I have no complaints. Now, I didn't drift the car on the test drive. Maybe you are losing something at 10/10th. But during my test drive (not exactly a Sunday drive), the steering feel and feedback didn't disappoint.
