Wet feet! Condensate...
Just bought a 2001 Boxster S, and condensate is dripping on my right foot. Also into passenger side. I have searched the forum, and the net, and concluded that is a clogged ac drain. I crawled around in it today and cannot see how to clear it. Does anyone have a picture of the drain line and a way to clear it? Or maybe point to the end of the tube so I can blow it out?

OK, found it! Put a vacuum on it with my mityvac and pulled a cup of water out along with some algae boogers. Is there a tube connected to the other side of the grommet? I guess I could blow that out...

Do you have a picture to show the drain line

I'm going to make a guess
On my car, an 01S, the drain line runs down from the heater/AC box starting in the middle-left of the passenger foot well down the firewall and along the floor next to center tube between the seats to exit through the floor around the center console. See picture in post #5. Because the heater/AC box is a sealed unit, I'm guessing that the drain tube isn't connected through a gromet to another tube inside the box. If you talking about the exit groment on the floor, then the answer is no. |
Thom, thanks! That is what I figured...
